Revitalization of Water Channel on Jalan Kramat Almost Complete

Eight personnel from the Ciracas Sub-district Water Resources Implementation Unit (SDA), East Jakarta, deployed to revitalize the water channels on Jalan Kramat, RT 10/10, Ciracas Urban Village. The progress has now reached 80 percent.

To be completed within 20 working days

Ciracas Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Yulia Indah said, the revitalization of a 25-meter-long water channel was conducted by installing a U-ditch measuring 40x40x120 centimeters.

"This work started on September 15, 2025, and is scheduled to be completed within 20 working days," she expressed, Friday (10/3).

Water Channel on Jalan Dukuh Being Revitalized to Block Flooding

She explained, the previous channel only used four-inch pipes and had many damages that caused blockages.

"Hopefully, the revitalization of the water channels can optimally prevent flooding, especially during heavy rains," she explained.

The work received appreciation from RW 10 Chairman, Ciracas Urban Village, Sukimin.

"Despite the channel has not been fully completed, it is already functioning. In fact, during the heavy rain yesterday, water flowed directly through the new channel and the residents' houses are no longer flooding as before," he stated.
